Eric Ten Hag reacts to sack calls after Manchester United’s 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace

Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag has responded to calls for his immediate sack after his team lost 4-0 to Crystal Palace in an English Premier League (EPL) game on Monday night.

Ten Hag, who reacted to the calls for his sack in a chat with Sky Sports, said that his team has many problems but tries to prepare his players best.

When asked about the loss to Crystal Palace, which left United eighth in the EPL table, Ten Hag said that his team had problems because they missed their entire back line.

“Absolutely, I am the right manager to turn things around.

“If the right players are available, then we have a good squad. But when we miss almost our entire backline, then we have problems.

“We have many problems, so I prepare the team in the best way I can. The only focus I have is to perform better with my team.”. The Dutch coach noted.

He, however, noted that the defeat against Crystal Palace was deserved but averred that available players should have done better as the performance wasn’t what was expected.

“I will keep fighting. I have to do it with the players who are available.”

“There are reasons; everyone has seen our backline, but we have to deal with it.

“We should have kept fighting like the fans did,”  Ten Hag stated .
