Wilfred Ndidi is set to give Leicester City an answer about his future next week
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will give his English Premier (EPL) club Leicester City an answer regarding his future next week when he becomes a free agent on July 1.
This was made known in a report by Filbert Way which disclosed that the combative player will notify new manager Steve Cooper of his decision to stay or leave next week.
Leicester City has offered the 27-year-old who has been linked with several clubs in England and Turkey, a new contract but he is yet to decide on his future.
This comes days after EPL side Everton FC indicated an interest in signing Ndidi in the summer.
Everton’s interest was made known in a report published by TEAMtalk which revealed that the EPL club wants the player as a replacement for Amadou Onana, who could leave this summer.
Reports suggest Sevilla and Real Sociedad are interested in Ndidi, and Leicester City announced Friday they are in contract renewal talks
Spanish La Liga side Barcelona have also joined the race to acquire the services of Ndidi from Leicester City.
A report by Sport revealed that the Spanish club is considering acquiring the player whose time at the King Power Stadium is ending.
The outlet reported that Barcelona’s interest highlights the rising demand for Ndidi’s skills, especially as the Catalan giants seek to strengthen their midfield options.
