West Ham plots to sign Super Eagles defender Ola Aina

English Premier League (EPL) team West Ham are eyeing up a move to sign Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina to shore up their rear guard next season.

Reports say West Ham is keen on the services of Aina, who can play at left-back or right-back, as they presently have 31-year-old Vladimir Coufal as the only right-back player in the team.

However, reports suggest that West Ham is not the only team seeking the signature of Aina, as Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested in the versatile defender.

This comes after reports suggest that Nottingham Forest will move to secure the services of Aina by activating the player’s clause to remain in England for another year.

According to sources, the modest club wants to extend the player’s stay, and the club is ready to activate a contract condition that will allow Aina to stay for an additional year.

Forest intends to prevent the player whose contract at City Ground is running out and is set to leave the club as a free agent at the end of June by extending his stay.
