Despite their slip in the global standings, the Super Eagles remain fifth in Africa.
Morocco’s Atlas Lions continue to lead in Africa, followed by Senegal, Egypt, and Cote d’Ivoire.
On the world scene, World Cup champions Argentina, who just defended their Copa America title, are in first place.
France is second in the FIFA standings, with recently crowned European champions Spain rising from seventh to third.
England’s Three Lions have risen to fourth after reaching the Euro 2024 final, while South American heavyweights Brazil have plummeted to fifth on the monthly rankings.
