Sagamu Shines as Ogun State Unveils New Factories, Boosting Economic Growth and Investment

Ogun State proudly unveiled two new factories, marking a significant milestone in the state’s economic growth. The Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Dr. Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite, joined Governor Dapo Abiodun as they inaugurated the West African Soy Industries Limited (WASIL) and the expansion of the renowned Tropical General Investment Group (TGI).

Located at the Sagamu interchange, these factories symbolize the success of foreign direct investment in Ogun State and highlight its position as a thriving business hub.

The expansion of TGI is a testament to the state’s concentrated efforts to improve the ease of doing business. Ogun State’s commitment to providing the necessary infrastructure has contributed to its recognition as the most improved economy in the nation and one of the most resilient states.

In line with this vision, the construction of the Agro-Cargo Airport is underway, poised to further enhance the capabilities of businesses operating in Ogun State and drive its economic growth.
