Sagamu Bids Farewell to Late High Chief Olubayode Omololu Oluwole with Christian Wake Keep Service
On Thursday, 30th of May 2024, a solemn Christian Wake Keep Service was held at the residence of the late High Chief Olubayode Omololu Oluwole, 138 Isale Ijagba, Sagamu, Ogun State, as part of the funeral arrangements for the departed leader.
The event brought together dignitaries from across the state to pay their respects and bid farewell to a man widely admired for his visionary leadership and commitment to the service of humanity.
The Christian Wake Keep Service, which was conducted by the Presiding Bishop, featured hymns, praises, and tributes to the late High Chief Olubayode, who was eulogized as a politician, a visionary leader, and a passionate servant of God. The Bishop, in his exhortation, urged everyone to emulate the deceased’s selfless service and commitment to doing good in whatever position they occupy.
The Christian Wake Keep Service was attended by notable dignitaries, including Aare Adetola Emmanuel King, CEO Adron Homes, Yeye Adenike Adebutu, political associates and friends, family members, and neighbors. The event was a testament to the impact of the late High Chief Olubayode’s life and legacy, and the outpouring of grief and respect was a fitting tribute to his memory.
Earlier, the deceased’s body was retrieved from Babcock University Teaching Hospital and taken to his residence in Ishara for prayers before being brought to Sagamu for the Christian Wake Keep Service.
The funeral arrangements will continue with other ceremonies to honor the life and legacy of the late High Chief Olubayode Omololu Oluwole.
