Real Madrid completes signing of French striker Kylian from PSG
Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid have completed the free transfer of talented French striker Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a five-year deal.
Per respected football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, every document involving Mbappe’s move from PSG to Real Madrid has been signed, sealed and completed.
Romano also stated in a post on X that Real Madrid is making plans to officially unveil Mbappe (who made the decision to move to the club in February) sometime this week.
Moments after Madrid announced the deal, Mbappe said; “A dream come true. So happy and proud to join the club of my dreams Real Madrid.
‘‘Nobody can understand how excited I am right now”.
‘‘Can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thanks for your unbelievable support”. The World Cup winner added.
Mbappe signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid worth £12.8 million a year after taxes; the 25-year-old will receive a signing-on bonus of slightly over £85 million from Real. Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain cost the club £166 million in 2018, but he left on a free transfer after his contract expired.
