Radanuwa of Idado, Ronzl’s Foundation Launch Food Bank Project in Sagamu, Benefiting Aged Community

In a display of compassion and community support, the Radanuwa of Idado Sagamu, Oba Musiliu Oriyomi Soile, in partnership with Ronzl’s Foundation through the “Ayinde’s food bank and open kitchen”, has initiated a food bank project for the aged residents of Idado Sagamu.

The first edition of this remarkable endeavor saw 100 elderly individuals benefiting from the thoughtfully packaged food supplies provided by the organizers. This pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone for Sagamu, as it is the first of its kind in the area.

During the event, Oba Oriyomi Soile addressed the beneficiaries and all those in attendance, expressing his deep love and care for the aged people of Idado. He shared that his passion for supporting the elderly community inspired him to collaborate with other partners to establish this much-needed initiative.

The food bank project in Idado will continue to take place every three months, ensuring sustained assistance for the elderly. Additionally, a select group of 20 highly vulnerable individuals from Idado will receive monthly support through this program.

In an exclusive interview with one of the beneficiaries, she expressed her gratitude for the food bank project.
