Nigerian rapper, Falz takes legal action against VeryDarkMan over dǝfamatory statement (IMAGES)
Nigerian singer and rapper, Folarin Falana a.k.a Falz has taken legal action against self-acclaimed activist, VeryDarkMan over viral defamatory statements across social media platforms.
This is following the viral implications of homosexual affairs and intention to get a presidential pardon for Idris Okuneye a.k.a Bobrisky. Bobrisky was charged to court on the count of naira abuse and alleged money laundering.
Sharing on Instagram, the 33-year-ol rapper released a legal statement, demanding the withdrawal and retraction of defamatory statements by online activist, VeryDarkMan.
In the claims of VDM, he insinuated that Falz is involved in a homosexual affair with Bobrisky, hence, he allegedly helped him get permission to stay in the VIP section while serving his jail term.
Meanwhile, Falz noted in his legal statement that Bobrisky initiated the call to ask for ₦3m to pay officials for permission to stay in the VIP section of the correctional center.
“Be advised that if we do not receive your formal retraction and apology as demanded within 24 (twenty-four) hours of the receipt hereof, we shall proceed with our client’s instructions to seek appropriate legal remedies, including monetary damages, against you for your incendiary publication and dissemination of defamatory statements.
We hope that the salient issue raised herein will urgently be addressed”
Falz demands an apology across all social media platforms from VeryDarkMan within 24 hours.
