Negbuwa of Ibido Remo Celebrates 1 year Coronation Anniversary
Yesterday, July 1st 2023 marked the 1 year coronation anniversary of the Negbuwa of Ibido Remo, HRH Oba Kolawole Adesina Adeyemi Efutide.
The celebration began with a Thanksgiving service at the Living Christ Evangelical Ministry (LICEM), Isale Ijagba Sagamu. The service was a moment of prayer and thanksgiving to God on behalf of the king and his family.
Following the church service, a reception ceremony was held at the Akarigbo Palace Event hall. The reception had in attendance high profile personalities, royalties, and kings including the Akarigbo and paramount ruler of Remo, HRM Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi. It was indeed a beautiful moment of merriment and eating.
Musiliu Haruna Ishola thrilled the audience with his wonderful genre of apala music.
The Negbuwa of Ibido Remo expressed his gratitude for the love and support shown to him and his family throughout his first year as king. He also reiterated his commitment to promoting the cultural heritage of Ibido Remo and ensuring that its values are passed on to future generations.
