Hugo Viana set to replace Txiki Begiristain as Manchester City’s new director of football

English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester City will soon have a new director of football to replace outgoing Spanish football executive Txiki Begiristain.

The man primed to replace Begiristain as the new football executive of the EPL is Portuguese director Hugo Viana with an agreement said to have been reached.

Hugo Viana’s imminent appointment as the new Manchester City director of football from 2025 will be announced after Txiki Begiristain officially exits the club.

Current director Begiristain will leave next year and Man City want to celebrate him as a crucial part of the project for years.
