The Sagamu community in Ogun State, Nigeria, has launched “Operation Clean Up Sagamu” to improve sanitation and tackle the issue of waste management in the area. The initiative is being led by Hon Prince Oluwadamilare Muhammed Bello, popularly known as Drey, who has called on community members to come together and take action to improve the cleanliness of the community.

The launch of the initiative is a response to the growing concern over the poor state of sanitation in Sagamu, which has been attributed to the lack of proper waste management systems and poor disposal habits.

The “Operation Clean Up Sagamu” initiative aims to promote better waste management practices, including the proper disposal of waste and the reduction of single-use plastics. The initiative will involve community members, local businesses, and government agencies working together to clean up the streets and public spaces in Sagamu.

The initiative will also involve the distribution of educational materials to promote waste reduction and recycling, as well as the provision of waste bins and other waste management equipment.

Hon Prince Oluwadamilare Muhammed Bello, popularly known as Drey, has called on all members of the Sagamu community to support the initiative and work together to improve the cleanliness of the community.
