Governor Abiodun Celebrates Ojúde Ọba with Ijebu Traditional Ruler
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has joined the Paramount Ruler of Ijebuland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona – Ogbagba II, and the entire sons and daughters of Ijebuland in celebrating this year’s Ojúde Ọba. The Ojúde Ọba festival is a unique cultural event that has continued to unite people and foster peace across Ijebuland, with unprecedented socio-economic development being witnessed across the region.
Governor Abiodun expressed his delight at being part of the celebration, noting that it was a great opportunity to witness the rich cultural heritage of Ijebuland. He commended the traditional ruler and the entire people of Ijebuland for their commitment to the preservation of their cultural heritage.
