Everton, Forest and Crystal Palace join race to sign Raphael Onyedika

English Premier League (EPL) sides Everton, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest have joined the race to sign Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika from Belgium Jupiler League side, Club Brugge.

The three English clubs have now joined top Turkish club Galatasaray FC in the race to sign Onyedika who has played in 79 games across all competitions for Brugge, scoring three goals and providing three assists in return.

Cumhuriyet reports that Everton, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest are prepared to compete with each other for Onyedika’s signature, even though Club Brugge is anticipated to want a minimum of fifteen million euros from any clubs who are interested in signing the Nigerian player.

Recall that early in January, Club Brugge turned down a €15m bid for 22-year-old Onyedika from Galatasaray as they were not willing to part ways with the player at the time.

Galatasaray was willing to sign the midfield player on loan for €3 million, with an additional €12 payment required for a permanent deal, according to Turkish news outlet

Although the eighteen-time Belgian champions are willing to let Onyedika go this season, they are not in a rush to offload him because his contract with Club Brugge runs until the end of the 2026–2027 campaign.
