Crystal Palace line up move for Antonio Nusa to replace Michael Olise
English Premier League (EPL) side Crystal Palace is lining up a move for Norwegian professional footballer Antonio Nusa who plays for Belgian Pro League Club Brugge.
Nusa who plays for the Norway national team is one of the names on Crystal Palace’s shortlist to replace Michael Olise who is nearing a move to Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Palace is assessing options as Olise will move to Bayern and they view Nusa who was born in Norway to a Nigerian father and a Norwegian mother as a suitable replacement for Olise who also has Nigerian roots.
‘‘Understand Antonio Nusa is one of the names on Crystal Palace’s shortlist to replace Michael Olise.
‘‘Palace are assessing options as Olise will move to Bayern.
‘‘Nusa, concrete option on the list while Daichi Kamada has already signed a two-year deal — official soon.’’ Romano wrote on his official X handle.
Reports say Bayern has made contact with Palace to proceed with the next steps of the Olise deal and the club has also been informed of the player’s decision to join Bayern with personal terms already agreed.
The final package expected for Olise’s transfer is around £50m as the total fee for Palace.
