Chess Master, Tunde Onakoya floors International Newspaper for omitting his name in their report

Popular Nigerian Chess Master and soon-to-be Guinness World Record breaker Tunde Onakoya has floored popular international online newspaper Daily Mail Us for omitting his name in their report.

The Games master quoted the tweet they made via their page on the microblogging platform X and announced his name.

The online newspaper published a report regarding how Tunde played chess for 60 hours to break the Guinness World Record and how he learned the game of chess.

While gathering their report they only mentioned that he was Nigerian and failed to mention his name.

Their actions annoyed several Nigerians including Tunde, which caused them to storm their page and express their outrage.

Their tweet contained;

“Nigerian man who played chess for 60 hours in Times Square overcame ‘debilitating’ illness from a botched vaccination to smash the world record – and learned the strategy game at a barbershop”

While Tunde responded with; “His name is Tunde Onakoya” with a Nigerian flag emoji.
