All documents ready for Vincent Kompany to sign and become new Bayern head coach

Belgian professional football manager and former player Vincent Kompany will soon be announced as the next coach of top-flight German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.

Per a report by respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich has readied all the documents for Vincent Kompany to sign and become the next head coach of the club.

Romano also disclosed in his post on X (formerly Twitter) that his current club Burnley will receive €12 million compensation fee and Kompany’s lawyers have already agreed to the terms of the deal.

‘‘Bayern have all the documents ready for Vincent Kompany to sign and become new head coach.

‘‘Burnley will receive €12 million compensation fee and Kompany’s lawyers already gave green light to three-year contract until June 2027.

‘‘The announcement is expected for next week.’’ Romano wrote on his official X handle.

This comes a few days after Thomas Tuchel, who had previously stated that he would leave Bayern Munich after the season, opted not to continue in his role as manager.

Critical details for Tuchel to continue as Bayern coach were being hammered out during continuous discussions between the former Chelsea coach’s agent and club authorities at the club headquarters.

The experienced German manager, though, released a statement announcing that he is eager for a new challenge and would not be staying on as Bayern’s coach.
