A Lady Told To Vacate Her Apartment In Ikeja, Lagos After Spending ₦4 Million On Renovations (VIDEO)

A lady has found herself in a highly unfavorable situation after she was told to vacate her newly renovated apartment in Ikeja, Lagos.

The lady recounted her story in a video she posted online, of her the caretaker of the apartment giving her an eviction notice telling her she would not be able to renew her rent after it expires.

This came just after the lady had spent a significant sum, N4 million on renovating the apartment.

The lady explained that she had gotten the apartment through a caretaker she trusted, and had not initially seen the apartment before paying for it.

By the time she finally moved into the apartment, she found it a state of utter disrepair. As she had already paid the rent she had no choice but to accept it as it was.

Unwillingly to live in such a run-down apartment she decided to spend her own money on revamping it. From changing the tiles, plastering, and much more, she spent a total of N4 million on it.

Just a few months after the renovation was done, she received an eviction notice from the caretaker, citing an excuse that did not seem to add up.

on confronting the man who had gotten her the apartment, he claimed that the notice was not his doing, but had come from the previous caretaker and that he was not responsible.

Netizens had a lot to say about the situation, with many commenting on the video, read some of these comments here;
