Chelsea advancing in negotiations to sign Enzo Maresca as new head coach —Report
English Premier League (EPL) side Chelsea FC are in advanced negotiations to sign current Leicester City coach Enzo Maresca as the new manager of the club.
This was made known in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) by respected transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who disclosed that positive talks with the coach took place over the weekend.
Romano further stated that Maresca successfully guided Leicester City back to the Premiership, and is 100% keen and excited about Chelsea’s football project.

The race to become the next Chelsea coach to replace Pochettino is a highly competitive affair. Thomas Frank and Kieranbeingenna have been mentioned as potential candidates internally at Chelsea.
Reports indicate that Seb Hoeneß of Stuttgart is highly regarded but challenging to appoint. There have been no discussions with Vincent Kompany, Thomas Tuchel, Hansi Flick, or Antonio Conte, despite widespread media speculation.
