Akarigbo of Remoland Visits Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu After Storm Damage
The Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Dr. Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, Torungbuwa II, today, 19th of May 2024, visited the Federal Government Girls College, Sagamu, after a section of the school’s fence collapsed due to the recent stormy rainfall. During the visit, the Akarigbo observed that repair work had already commenced and commended the principal for her swift response to the situation.
Oba Ajayi expressed his commitment to supporting the school in any way possible, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of the students. He praised the principal for her proactive measures in addressing the damage and ensuring the students’ safety.
“We appreciate the Akarigbo’s visit and support. The stormy rain caused a section of our fence to collapse, but thankfully, no one was injured. We have already begun repairs to ensure the school’s perimeter is secure. We thank the Akarigbo for his offer to assist us and are grateful for his concern for the students’ safety. Furthermore, we are committed to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our students.” The school principal said.
Also in attendance were Akarigbo Chief of Staff, Bamofin of Remoland, and other school officials.
