IGP Kayode Egbetokun Set to Inaugurate New Police Facilities During Ogun State Visit
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, is scheduled to embark on a significant three-day working trip to Ogun State, commencing today.
Among the pivotal events lined up for the visit, Egbetokun will officiate the commissioning of several newly constructed facilities within the premises of the Ogun State Police Command headquarters.
Confirmed by Omolola Odutola, the spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, the IG’s agenda includes inaugurating the state-of-the-art technical intelligence unit and the complaints unit, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and public service delivery. Additionally, the IG plans to extend courtesy calls to Governor Dapo Abiodun and meet with paramount rulers representing the Egba, Ijebu, Remo, and Yewa communities. Moreover, the IG intends to engage in interactive sessions with police personnel and other key stakeholders during his visit to the state.
