Kelechi Iheanacho admits to struggling to adapt to life at his new club Sevilla
Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has admitted that he is finding it very hard to adapt to life at his new club Sevilla FC- a club he joined in the summer after parting ways with Leicester City.
The 28-year-old has struggled to establish himself at the club since joining the Rojiblancos on a free transfer this summer, starting the majority of games from the bench.
Although he has only scored twice in the Copa del Rey, Kelechi says he thinks his difficult time will soon come to an end and that he still has a lot of work to do in both practice and competition.
“When you are not at your best, at your peak, then you look very tough,” he confessed.
“In general, football is not simple. Probably everyone will say that it is easy. Obviously, the way we play makes it look easy.
“But it is not because there is a lot of hard work to do, both in training and in matches.”
