Akarigbo of Remoland Congratulates Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop on Appointment as Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs

The Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remoland, HRM-OBA (Dr.) Babatunde Adewale Ajayi, has congratulated Dr. Emanso Umobong Okop on her well-deserved appointment as Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs office in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (OSGF).

In a letter, the paramount ruler expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for recognizing Dr. Okop’s exceptional professionalism, competence, and expertise.

Dr. Okop, who assumed office on September 9, 2024, is expected to provide leadership that promotes efficiency, job satisfaction, and a conducive work environment. Her appointment is one of eight new Federal Permanent Secretaries approved by President Tinubu to fill existing and impending vacancies.

As Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Okop will be responsible for facilitating meetings of statutory councils, accurately recording proceedings, and processing documents incidental to the work of the Councils and Committees.

The Akarigbo of Remoland praised Dr. Okop’s service to the nation, acknowledging her remarkable journey, and prayed for her to receive further grace to fulfill her aspirations.

“On behalf of Remo Traditional Council, Remo Obas, Remo High Chiefs and the good people of Remoland, I want to congratulate you on your well deserved appointment as the Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs. We celebrate you warmly and with heartfelt prayers and praise to the Good Lord. We are grateful to the President for recognizing your exceptional professionalism,competence and expertise.” The statement partly reads.

Akarigbo expressed confidence that her tenure would bring prosperity, development, progress, peace, and tranquility.

Before her appointment as Permanent Secretary, Dr. Emanso served at the State House Medical Centre, rising through the ranks to become a Director.
