Ten Hag reacts to sack calls after Manchester United’s 0-3 loss to Tottenham

Dutch tactician Eric Ten Hag has reacted to calls for his immediate sacking following Manchester United’s 0-3 loss to EPL rivals Tottenham Hotspurs on Sunday at Old Trafford.

Brennan Johnson headed home Mickey van de Ven’s cross in the first three minutes of the Red Devils’ horrifying first-half display against Spurs with Bruno Fernandes later sent off by the referee for a high lunge on James Maddison.

Spurs had the ideal start to the second half as Dejan Kulusevski nudged home to further worsen United’s situation with Dominic Solanke adding a third goal later in the half.

However, some United supporters made it clear they had had enough of the Dutchman well before the match in Manchester ended, shouting for his axing even before the second half started.

After the game, Ten Hag stated that he was not afraid of being sacked because he had agreed with the club management to remain the coach of Manchester United.

He said; “I’m not thinking about being sacked, not at all. We all made the decision to stay together”.

“Ownership, staff, players, myself. We made the decision from a clear review of what we have to do”.

“We knew it would take some time. We are on the same page together”. Ten Hag concluded.
