Spanish La Liga side Barcelona FC is reportedly preparing a bid in the region of €30 million to sign combative Super Eagles and Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika.
This was made known in a report published by Completesports.com which disclosed that Barcelona is the latest suitor willing to lure the midfielder away from the Belgian Jupiler pro-league.
“For now, Barcelona are the latest suitors. We understand they are willing to part with €30 million for his transfer,” a source told the publication on condition of anonymity.
The report comes days after Nicky Hayen, the coach of Club Brugge declared that the chances of Onyedika leaving are real.
The coach revealed in a recent interview that there have been talks since last season about the player leaving the club for around €20 million.
Hayen hinted that the club is focusing on the players who will play for the club next season.
“That chance is real. At the end of last season, there was also talk of that. We are working with the players who are there and our homework has been done by now,” Hayen told a press conference last Friday.
