Italian Serie A side Juventus FC has booked a medical for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz who is in the camp of the Brazilian national team preparing for COPA America.
Sources say a medical will take place very soon for the player who has agreed to move to Italy on a five-year contract with his girlfriend Alisha Lehmann set to join him in Turin.
This was announced on X by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who added that medicals are booked for Iling Jr and Enzo Barrenechea.
According to Romano, the midfielder will be valued at €50m in the swap deal between Aston Villa and Juventus while Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Iling Jr will be valued at €22m.
‘‘Douglas Luiz will be valued at €50m in the swap deal between Aston Villa and Juventus.

‘‘As reported yesterday, Aston Villa will receive a €28m fee.
‘‘Juventus will also have 10% sell-on clause on both players.’’ Romano wrote on his X page.
Alisha Lehmann, a fellow star of Aston Villa, and Luiz are scheduled to travel to Turin together. As per an independent report by ilBiancoNero, the Swiss women’s international is ‘about to go’ to Juventus and is anticipated to have her medical examination in Italy before her definitive departure from the WSL.
